Description
Pluto Lost Its Colors is a fast paced platformer with physics based controls. It provides players with a challenging yet highly addictive platformer game experience. It tells the story of Pluto, which loses its vibrant colors after a battle with a black hole. Determined to reclaim what was lost, Pluto embarks on a journey across the galaxy, facing challenges while collecting color shards. The gameplay revolves around using only two action controls — jump and dash — in addition to the movement controls to navigate through the physics based gameplay and platformer challenges. The game features four realms themed around space, elements, dreams, and (quantum) dimensions. Each realm has 24 to 25 checkpoints and a boss battle, all featuring a unique challenge. As players become more skilled and confident in Pluto's controls, they will find themselves exploring faster yet riskier paths to overcome the challenges, making this game well suited for players who enjoy speedrunning games.

Pluto Lost Its Colors was inspired by a vision to make a game with simple input controls but with many variations, and a gameplay which provides a genuine challenge that is satisfying to complete. Its inspirations include Super Mario 64 for controls, and 'Kaizo Mario' style challenges but in a way accessible to players from all skill levels.
